In our recent project, we undertook the installation of a new Code 5 lead bay roof to replace the old one, which had developed splits due to being constructed with a single piece of lead and having bitumen felt underneath that limited its flexibility. The new roof involved a carefully planned approach, which included roofing boarding and dividing it into five distinct bays. Additionally, we incorporated new fascia boards and a continuous stainless steel drip designed to enhance wind uplift resistance. This project not only ensured the roof's structural integrity but also improved its longevity and performance.
