Our recent project involved the restoration and repair of a flat roof that had encountered several issues. Despite being only a few years old, the fibreglass roof had experienced failures around the walls and roof light, as well as dipping between the rafters due to incorrect decking installation. To address these issues, we removed the existing roof and installed firring strips to facilitate proper roof drainage and cross-ventilation between the rafters, ensuring airflow from front to back. We also added new tongue and groove decking, trims, and a durable CFS fibreglass roof, along with lead flashing around all perimeters. This project successfully restored the flat roof's functionality and structural integrity, providing a long-lasting solution.
