A customer had ongoing water ingress from the chimney despite repair attempts over the years, porous bricks being the last problem to address. With the chimney out of use, the best option was to remove it. The chimney was tiled over with a tile vent to allow the chimney to continue to be naturally ventilated. The gutter was renewed due to old seals deteriorating whilst the narrow access scaffold was available.
